Installing on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV
Downloader app, unknown sources and common problems.
FlickX is installed with the free Downloader app. The steps with pictures are on the download page.
“App not installed” or nothing happens
- Android TV / Google TV: Settings → Device preferences → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources and allow Downloader.
- Fire TV: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps and allow Downloader. If Developer options is hidden, open About and select your device name seven times.
The download doesn’t start
Check that the TV is online and that you typed the code or address exactly. You can also use the full download link shown on the download page.
Not enough storage
Uninstall apps you don’t use, or clear Downloader’s downloaded files after installing.
