TV guide (EPG) and catch-up

How the programme guide works, what to do when it’s empty and how to watch programmes that already aired.

FlickX shows what’s on now and next for every live channel, and a full programme guide you can scroll with the remote.

Where the guide comes from

  • Xtream Codes: the guide comes from your provider with the login. Nothing to set up.
  • M3U: FlickX doesn’t show a guide for M3U playlists yet. Use an Xtream Codes login if your source offers one.

The guide is empty or wrong

  • Give FlickX a minute after adding a playlist: large guides load in the background.
  • Some channels have no guide data at your provider; FlickX then shows only the channel name.
  • Times off by an hour or more usually mean the guide uses a different time zone; ask your source to correct it.

Catch-up

With an Xtream Codes login, channels with catch-up show a replay icon. Open the guide, go back in time to a programme that already aired and press OK to watch it. How many days you can go back depends on your provider.

Recording and downloads

Films and episodes from an Xtream Codes library can be downloaded for offline viewing. Live channels can’t be recorded.
